| Notes | Nephrops catch sampling programme holds data from catch samples taken form the East Irish Sea area. Unsorted catch samples are taken from vessels targeting Nephrops in this area and have been collected historically by Cefas as well as by the Whitehaven Inshore Fisheries and Conservation Authority. Samples can be collected at sea or at the quay side in Whitehaven from around April to August. Data has been collected since 1999, although some years have poor sampling records.Contains: Length distributions of Nephrops by sex, individual weights, maturity for females and males. General description of bycatch (numbers and total weight by species).
