| Notes | The results gathered were contributed by a number of cruises for this report.The main aims were to; i) carry out a plankton survey over a grid of 71 - 80 stations in order to estimate the production ofNephrops norvegicus larvae. ii) take additional plankton samples in areas of highest larvae abundance to estimate haul to haul and spatial variability. iii) determine the distribution and abundance of Nephrops larvae off the English NE coast. iv) sample near bottom plankton using a net mounted on the trawl. v) carry out a neuston net survey for lobster larvae and to test the use of the methot net for catching lobster larvae. vi) carry out a survey to describe the distribution and abundance of lobster larvae.
