<p>IDBR employment data are provided within this 10 year dataset so that Counts, Employment and Turnover are all on a consistent IDBR basis, and these variables can be used in combination eg Turnover per Enterprise.

<p>This is the first time IDBR employment and turnover have ever been published.
</p>
<p>Turnover for this dataset includes Financial Intermediation where some turnover figures are volatile.
</p>
<p>2 digit SIC Local Authority data for Enterprises and Local Units for 2009 are available from Neighbourhood Statistics.
</p>

</p>
<p>Enterprise Group - A group of legal units under common ownership.<br />
Local Unit - An individual site (for example a factory or shop) in an enterprise.<br />
Employment - Comprises not just employees (that is, people receiving a salary) but also owners and/or partners of enterprises.
</p>
