| Notes | The Dublin City Development Plan sets out policies and objectives to guide how and where development will take place in the city over the next 6 years. This plan was adopted by Dublin City Council at a Special adjourned Meeting on 24th November 2010. The plan came into effect on 22nd December 2010 and will run until 2017. The plan can be viewed at
http://www.dublincity.ie/Planning/DublinCityDevelopmentPlan/Pages/CityDevelopmentPlan.aspx This dataset shows conservation areas (Residential Conservation Areas zone Z2 and Architectural and Civic Design Character Areas zone Z8) that are important due to their contribution to the heritage of the city. A second dataset shows Architectural Conservation Areas, which fulfill the legal requirements for architectural conservation areas set out in the Planning and Development Acts, 2000 to 2002,by satisfying at least one of the categories of special interest (architectural, historical, archaeological, artistic, cultural, scientific, social, technical), or by contributing to the appreciation of protected structures. This dataset is output in MapInfo TAB format, spatial projection Irish Grid. |
