| Notes | The number of units of self-contained and non-self-contained stock acquired by Registered Social Landlords (RSLs) in Glasgow in 2013.
Aquisitions are split into the following categories: new builds, improvements, acquired from local authority, acquisition/ merger with other RSLs, and other sources. A unit is self-contained if it has the exclusive use of a bath/shower, inside WC and cooking facilities. Non-self-contained units are housing for people with some form of special need which may require special design or adapted features. The accommodation is not self contained except that sometimes there might be separate WCs or bathroom. Generally, cooking and dining will be communal and there will be a common room.
