Notes | This file contains the digital vector boundary showing Glasgow Parliamentary constituencies. Data was sourced from the Boundary Line dataset of Ordnance Survey open products and clipped to show Glasgow Parliamentary constituencies. They include Glasgow Anniesland, Glasgow Cathcart, Glasgow Kelvin, Glasgow Maryhill and Springburn, Glasgow Pollok, Glasgow Provan, Glasgow Shettleston and Glasgow Southside.
Scottish parliamentary constituencies (SPC) are used to elect members to the Scottish Parliament. The 73 new constituencies were recommended by the Boundary Commission for Scotland's First Periodic Review of Scottish Parliament Boundaries which was submitted in May 2010. The resulting constituencies came into use at the Scottish Parliament elections in May 2011.
