Homelessness is a broader issue as it encompasses lots of factors ranging from accommodation needs of an individual, health issues, money and legal advice, employment and so on. These issues are all addressed in a holistic and integrated way to prevent homelessness occurring.
Community Casework and social work teams are explored in this dataset. There are three social work area teams across Glasgow City providing a range of services. Social Work Community Casework Services offers a casework service to anyone who is homeless or about to become homeless. They work with individuals to develop a support plan and each person is allocated a Community Caseworker to help them. They work in partnership with other agencies and offer a range of services including: * Access to temporary and permanent accommodation * Housing information and advice. * Links to other local resources including health and housing support services.
