Geographic Coverage: Island of Ireland Temporal Coverage: Data was collected within the following date classes: DC0 = <1929; DC1 = 1930-1969; DC2 = 1970-1986; DC3 = 1987-1999; DC4 = 2000-2010 Species Groups recorded: quillwort, stonewort, conifer, flowering plant, ginkgo, horsetail, clubmoss, fern Dataset Status: This is a historic summary dataset that was supplied to NBDC for the purposes of mapping distributions at the tetrad scale. The underlying record are held in the BSBI’s Distribution Database (http://bsbidb.org.uk/). Additional Information: The BSBI Maps Scheme (www.bsbimaps.org.uk) displays hectad and tetrad maps for Britain and Ireland. Note that these maps are a summary dataset only and have not been updated since 2010. More up to date maps are provided on the BSBI’s Distribution Database (http://bsbidb.org.uk/) for which users will need to register and be granted access. |
