| Notes | The aim of this cruise was to participate in the International Council for the Exploration of the Sea (ICES) co-ordinated herring larval survey of regions IVc and VIId (Southern North Sea and Eastern English Channel) and to sample herring larvae and their potential food organisms in a study of their diet and feeding status. The cruise was also used to test the Methot/Isaacs Kidd midwater trawl which was used to sample large herring larvae and potential larvae predators.
