| Σημειώσεις | The Marine Institute maintain two Automatic Water Quality Monitoring Stations (AWQMS) in the Burrishoole catchment, one on a freshwater lake, Lough Feeagh and one on a coastal lagoon, Lough Furnace. The stations measure the following parameters at high frequency (sub 10 mins): DateTime, Depth (m), Water temperature (degC), Conductivity (milli Siemens/cm), Salinity (parts per thousand), DOPC (% Saturation), DO (mg/l), pH (pH units), and ChlA (millivolts). The two stations also record relevant meteorological data such as water temperature, wind speed, sunlight hours and barometric pressure.
