Select which year you require from the drop-down box in the <a href="http://data.london.gov.uk/datafiles/demographics/land-area-population-density-london.xls" target="_blank">spreadsheet.</a></p> <p>Inland area takes account of water line. Areas with large bodies of water will have a smaller inland area than total area since some of the area will be water.<br />Land area figures are taken from Ordnance Survey boundaries using MapInfo.</p>
