This table expresses the use of renewable energy in two ways: 1. Gross final consumption 2. Avoided use of fossil primary energy In addition the table presents the avoided emissions of carbon dioxide by the use of renewable energy. Figures are broken down into energy source/technique and into application (electricity, heat and transport). Data available from: 1990 Status of the figures: This table contains definite figures until 2013. Changes as of 12 December 2014: The figures on 2013 are definite. When will new figures be published? Provisional figures on 2014: June 2015. Definite figures on 2014: December 2015. |
