| Notes | Description: A national dataset consisting of a taxonomic, locational and cross-referenced database of over 25k specimens, many of them type specimens, held by the G.S.I. The collections mainly date from the 19th century, but they have recently been curated to a consistently high standard by M. Parkes. However, co-ords are still required for the majority of entries. The dataset currently includes a backlog of ~1.6k specimen record cards which are captured digitally, including the assignation of a locality number. Number of records entered so far is over 24443.
